IT-4-NYC is non-profit
site I am building to provide a wealth of various resources and information
to assist the IT Professional, CIO, or Network Administrator with their
daily job. Here you will find articles, research, a directory of companies
providing services and/or products, as well as news and updates in security
patches, files, and technology trends. Why am I doing this? Well, Computers have been a vested interest of mine since I was 9 years old and learned BASIC on my family's first personal computer: the Apple II+. Since then computing and technology has always been my forte. Professionally, my computing career started as a consultant for NSTL (National Software Testing Labs) during the summer of 1990. But it wasn't until 1998 when I realized that my love for computing was far stronger than motion picture making and editing. Even though film has been a love of mine since I was tinkering around with my Dad's Super-8 camera at 12 yrs old, pushing the envelope on computing technology is the goal that drives me. |
